Sunday Table: 52 Weekly Devotions is a collection of spiritual reflections by Tim Lamb, designed to provide readers with a year-long journey of faith and restoration.
The book originated from Lamb’s personal practice of sharing online messages from his breakfast table during the pandemic, eventually evolving into 52 structured entries.
Each chapter includes scriptural analysis, personal anecdotes, and practical challenges aimed at deepening the reader’s relationship with Jesus. High-ranking leaders within the International Pentecostal Holiness Church endorse the work, noting Lamb’s pastoral heart and his ability to transform personal struggles, such as a cardiac arrest, into messages of hope.
The text emphasizes themes of Sabbath rest, the power of journaling, and spiritual endurance through life’s hardships. Ultimately, the book serves as an invitation for believers to find peace and divine purpose amid the noise of a modern, unrelenting world.
About the author
Tim Lamb combines over 44 years of pastoral and church plant\church revitalization experience to lead LifePoint Ministries, a conference within the IPHC. Before accepting this leadership role, Tim served successfully as a Lead Pastor for over 34 years in pastoral ministry.
Tim serves on several boards and committees through the IPHC, including the Falcon Children’s Home and Family Services, Emmanuel College Board of Trustees, and IPHC Council of Bishops. In addition, Tim has traveled and ministered throughout the Southeastern United States and other countries, preaching and conducting leadership training for pastors and church leaders. Tim has also served as a consultant for pastors and church leaders, training leadership and developing church structure that will help facilitate growth for the small and medium-size church.
Tim has a deep passion for people, and his motto for the past 28 years has been, “If you don’t know how to love people, you don’t know how to love God.” Tim’s commitment is to helping develop leaders and helping small and medium-sized churches have a more significant impact on their communities through outreach.
For many years, Tim has developed and shared devotions through various platforms. His latest platform is through his recent Devotional Book, “Sunday Table: 52 Weekly Leadership Devotions.”
Tim is married to Carissa Lamb. They have three married children: Jonathan and Allison Lamb, Steven and Misty Lamb, and Jennifer and Mark Murrell. In addition, they have five grandchildren: Dylan, Hannah Grace, Peyton, Kade, and Haylee. Tim and Carissa enjoy time with their family and friends.
