The One New Man Bible will help the Church understand and appreciate its Jewish Roots, and finally recognize that Y’shua (Jesus) was born Jewish, that He grew up Jewish, and that He is the same today as He was then. (Hebrews 13:8) Readers will understand that the Scriptures Y’shua, and every New Testament author, embraced (irreverently called Old Testament by the Church) are alive and relevant for believers today. As a proof of God’s perfect plan for His perfect Word, readers will discover that Matthew flows, as if a continuous stream, out of the book of Chronicles. Only God could have done this! The One New Man Bible has been written to help present-day believers move toward God’s perfect plan to create One New Man, bringing Jewish and non-Jewish together. The Hebrew Scriptures are in the traditional Jewish book order, and although different from the Christian book order, it is easy to learn the sequence. This Bible is very easy to read through, Genesis to Revelation. The One New Man Bible includes more than 4,000 footnotes and the massive 170-page Glossary describes various first-century Jewish customs and explains Hebrew Scriptures, such as Leviticus 14, which on the surface is about cleansing a leper, but has a much deeper meaning. Many Jewish sources were studied to bring the Scriptures to life, including many modern as well as ancient Jewish commentaries. Those studies bring real depth to the subjects in the Glossary, but even more importantly they give insight into the thinking of the New Testament authors, the Apostles, and especially Y’shua. It is important for those of us reading in the twenty-first century to understand what a word or expression meant to those who wrote the passages in Bible times. The Torah, the first five books of the One New Man Bible, is divided into weekly readings over the course of a year. These weekly readings coincide with the weekly Scriptures every synagogue in the world will be reading each Sabbath. The New Testament of the One New Man Bible was translated into English from the United Bible Society’s Fourth Edition Greek text, which employs Textual Criticism to determine which of the more than five thousand ancient Greek manuscripts of the New Testament were closest to what the authors wrote in the first century. This translation has as its goal to be a very readable text that flows from one book to another while preserving much of the Jewish flavor, especially the Jewishness of Y’shua, and much of the power in the Hebrew and Greek expressions.

  1. Rhonda Archer

Knowing my desire to understand Scripture from the Hebraic authors perspective, my daughter purchased a copy for me years ago. I was truly blessed when I was given permission to solely quote this version in my book.

  2. Nina Burkhardt

I got my One New Man Bible in 2012 and I LOVE IT. It’s very enlightening to get an understanding of the culture of the day it was written, and what Y’shua meant when He said certain things that aren’t used in today’s vernacular.
It’s very meaningful and eye opening to learn the meaning of things like “the eye of the needle” and “healing in His wings” Malachi 4:2 (the “wings” of His talit, called the hem of his garment in the KJV. Matt 5:21. It opens a whole new understanding of Christ our Lord and integrates the New Testament Messiah with the Old Testament prophesies of Him.
Several of my friends have purchased their own ONM Bible after hearing me explain how meaningful I’ve found this Bible in my study of The Word. I encourage everyone to get a copy of this great work.

This is the best translation I’ve ever read. It uses the oldest codices closest to the original text. This is very important because the Catholics & Anglicans have added certain points in their translations which have not brought clarity & unity but confusion & division in the faith. This translation gives insight to the original Hebrew & Greek text without adding personal, political or cultural opinions. It reveals the original intent & practices that took place in the context of that time, and this gives us better understanding of the scripture.

I love it! This is my go-to bible. I do, however, read this translation in conjunction with the “authorized” version, but this is my favorite. I appreciate the work you all have done and as a minister my sincerest thank to you. I will be buying more resources from you as soon as I’m able.

Thank you, Sue! We love it too!;-)

  5. Diogo

It is a wonderful Bible, very rich Apendix. The only thing though it fell into the Rabinical wrong teaching that Daniel was not among the Prophets, even Though Yeshua himself called him a Prophet in Mathew 24:15.. and some other small things.. but great work.. I’m going for my second one.

    • Steve Spillman (verified owner)

Hello Diogo, Thank you for your review! The book of Daniel is categorized in the traditional Jewish Book order under “Writings.” Daniel himself, of course, was a prophet, as we will see in Mr. Morford’s upcoming book, “The Prophets of the Bible.”

  6. Kalil

I believe it to be a great translation of the original manuscripts, but I have found at least one pretty big error in it. It changes sons of God to sons of leader in Gen. chapter 6. I find this misleading because it was actual angel who took the daughters of men for wives.

  7. Darlene Olive

I love This bible. This is the best way to learn the true meaning of the scriptures. It has changed me from the inside out! I was sceptical at first, as I received a copy as a gift from the Sid Roth show when I ordered something else! Once I started to read it though, I couldn’t stop… it has been a blessing. My husband and I have deepened our study of scripture as a result of this bible. Thank you, Mr. Morford for your dedication to this book! It is truly a masterpiece!! I will start buying them for all my loved ones so that they may experience the true meaning of THE WORD!!

  8. Erica Vaught

I truly love my bible. I feel as though I am part of the books when I read them. I can understand God’s Word so much easier now. Thank you so much for taking the time to transcribe His Word into something we can follow more easily and I can become closer with Jesus. When reading, one’s eyes become truly opened. I love the explanations. I, along with my family, am truly blessed.

      Thank you Erica! We agree!

  9. Br. Eardley & Sister Wilbur Nesbitt

Thank you Bro. William J. Morford, a pastor friend of ours blessed us with this Bible almost 4 years ago. We absolutely love The One New Man Bible. This is the only Bible we use. We have learned so much from The Table of Contents in the beginning to the Glossary in the back. The Word of God just comes alive, even more. Every time we see the name of Yeshua, our hearts are thrilled. We highly recommend this version.

  10. Elaine Eggers

I love this Bible. I’m just starting to dig into Hebrew word studies. I wake up reading it and end my day reading it. I have fallen in love all over again with our Yahweh/Yeshua-Messiah.

  11. Allan

This is the best, and most accurate, English translation period. I love everything about the translation and the physical book, with only one exception. It has the book names printed only on the right hand page, and centered in the page heading, making it difficult to find scripture quickly. Would prefer that the book title and chapters be on both the left and right hand pages, and toward the outside of the page so that the reader can quickly find scriptures.

    • Steve Spillman (verified owner)

Allen, you’re the second person lately to suggest this. It is a lot of work to change the placement of the headers on each page, as you can imagine, but I think it’s a splendid idea! Shame on me for not thinking of it in the beginning!
      Maybe the next print run?
      Blessings,

I’m really picky about typefaces, line-spacing and all that affects readability. Books that are a struggle to read may remain unread. The One New Man Bible is easy and comfortable to read, and the words come alive with understanding.
An example: it says Reed Sea, or Sea of Reeds – (Greeks describe as Red Sea). The Hebrew meaning gives you a picture of this sea.
Also, it is written in paragraph form, like a story. There are chapter and verse numbers, but not so prominently.
Thank you William Morford – as I think this must be your life work, and now we love to read the Bible even more.

  13. Lil Abner

Clear, concise language. I am SOOO happy I have it.

  14. Joann

Everyone should have one – it is a great study bible and an easy read

  15. Rebecca Parker

This is my new Bible of choice!

  16. Sharon Goodwin

I just love this translation of the Holy scriptures!

  17. Ernest Gutierrez

Amazing Bible! First caught it on Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural and fell in love with the idea behind it. It has been a great blessing to me as I dive into the word and study it. I highly recommend it!

  18. Jeffrey T.

Excellent corrections and interpretations. A must for any Bible student 😉

  19. Linda Snider

Gives me understanding of the true meaning of the verses in the Bible—-

  20. Keith Gyarmoti

    a wonderful translation and reference.

  21. Terri

As it says, “Revealing Jewish Root and Power.” This is timely and important. The story of how it came about is miraculous! It is edifying to know how we are to pray and speak!

  22. TAS

Revealing the Power of God. God insight in the commentaries. I received my copy as a gift from my good friend Dorothy B Welch a dearly departed warrior for Messiah. . I highly recommend One New Man Bible.

  23. Lesley Hunter

The best version of the bible I have read and knowing the author what an amazing man of God thank you Bill and Gwen for all your hard work.

Every chapter and verse of this translation is full of delightful surprises! We have Rev. Morford to thank for his dedication to the preservation of the original meanings of Hebrew and Greek words, and to presenting us with the original emotional tones and expressions that were intended to accompany the text. You will not find another translation that so powerfully reveals the “decisive and authoritative” aspect of our creator AND His “tender and relational” characteristics as well. If you have been reading Latin based translations, you must read the ONE NEW Man Bible . Be prepared for a fresh encounter with a very powerful, very loving creator. You must read this Bible!

  25. Brian (verified owner)

Very happy with this translation, it more like a literal translation. A refreshing read.

  26. Malachi Mitchell (verified owner)

One of the best Bible’s I have ever picked up! I have many Bibles and I longed for a Bible that is very very close to the original translation. So many other translations are misinterpreting that Bible. Several are removing words and verses out of the Bible completely. This is not acceptable. I loved this Bible so much that I purchased 9 of them for my family.

  27. Cassandra (verified owner)

One of the best study Bibles I have bought so far.

  28. Mo Mike (verified owner)

TRULY INSPIRATIONAL. THE INSIGHTS GIVEN IN THE GLOSSARY ARE AMAZING AND OPEN UP NEW LINKAGE TO OTHER SCRIPTURES. I AM SO THANKFUL THAT WE HAVE FOUND THIS BIBLE. WE HAVE PURCHASED 4 COPIES FOR OTHERS WHO LOVE THE LORD AND TRY TO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. IT SHEDS LIGHT ON WHERE WESTERN INFLUENCES HAVE ALTERED THE CHURCH’S POWER. THIS IS A MUST FOR CHRISTIANS. GOD BLESS US AS WE ALL ARE TRANSFORMED IN TO “HIS” IMAGE.

  29. Dawn T. (verified owner)

This is the 5th one I have purchased, this Bible is a wonderful gift.

  31. Sara Ann Warriner (verified owner)

I LOVE THE ‘ONE NEW MAN’ BIBLE!! I’VE READ AND SOLD 28 CASES OF ‘THE POWER NEW TESTAMENT’ AND NOW HAVE THE ONM BIBLE FOR 2 WEEKS. THE GLOSSARY NOW HAS 137 PAGES AND, I BELIEVE, CONTAINS THE ‘MEAT’ OF THE BIBLE. IT HAS HELPED ME GROW AS A MESSIANIC BELIEVER IN YESHUA FROM THE SIMPLE TO THE HINT DEPTH (LOOK TO ‘BOOK ORDER’ IN GLOSSARY.

  32. Carol Barriento (verified owner)

Because I like the idea it has Hebrew meanings in it! But do not care extra flimsy and thin pages and no red lettering for our Lord Jesus words!
I will start reading it in January at home but it is too fragile to carry to church and thumb through pages fast!
    God bless, thanks,

  33. Andrew Ng (Australia) (verified owner)

One incredible bible! The One new man bible a tremendous translation as the author is a born-again Christian and has a immense background in the Hebrew and Greek language and their cultures.

  34. Jonathan (verified owner)

Jesus means son of Zeus – Y’esua means son of Adoni. I always suspected that the bible translations were biased toward the western mind and life style. This version has me reading 4 times more than I normally do, not since I was a teen have I devoured the scriptures like this! It reframes my thinking into the proper Jewish context -how can we live the Christ life unless we think like Y’esua (Jewish). This will shake the very bottom of your faith setting it on a much more stable foundation!

  35. Nellie (verified owner)

Best bible I have ever purchased to date! Have been reading the different bibles (New Amer. Standard, NIV, etc.) for 38 years, this is the most awesome and up to date bible I have ever read. It helps so much to have the commentaries from a Jewish perspective. It gives you such a new understanding of what the meanings of many of the Jewish traditions are. For those of us who have no background in Jewish laws or traditions, it is a whole new world. Thank you so much to William J. Morford for your insight and work. I love this bible!!!

  36. KH “K” (verified owner)

A REAL EYE-OPENER, EASY TO READ AND COMPREHEND To do a very inadequate summary, this is the Bible/Torah with the blood and lies of English kings removed and the ancient Hebrew roots restored (and explained)with help from Rabbis. It really does open your eyes when it explains Hebrew customs and culture in the index. Not only that, it reads very easily and flows nicely. Whether you’re a Christian returning to the roots of the word or a Jew regularly reading the Torah, you will be blessed by this translation.
